Dr. Briscoe

Clayton Briscoe, O.D.

Dr. Briscoe has practiced optometry in Pendleton since 1992. He is certified by the Oregon Board of Optometry for the diagnosis and treatment of vision conditions as well as eye health and diseases of the eye. Dr. Briscoe holds certifications in topical, oral and injectable pharmaceutical treatments. He is a prescribing physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He is a 1988 graduate of California State University, Chico with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. He graduated in 1992 from Pacific University College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry. He practices family eye care with emphasis on disease of the eye and conditions associated with aging… cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. Dr. Briscoe is certified in surgical co-management and referral consultation of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and refractive surgery. Dr. Briscoe is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys community service, and youth organizations. His time away from the office is spent enjoying quality time with his family. Dr. Briscoe is a member of the Oregon Optometry Physicians Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Eastern Oregon Association of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Anderton, O.D

Dr. Anderton was raised in Pendleton. He received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a Doctorate of Optometry, summa cum laude, from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Before joining Vision Pendleton, Dr. Anderton worked at the Salt Lake City veterans’ hospital where he performed routine eye exams and managed various ocular conditions, such as macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, and diabetic retinopathy. While there, he also gained experience fitting specialty contact lenses on patients with corneal degenerations. He also practiced in a pediatric family practice in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where he treated many patients with special needs, reading disorders, eye turns, and amblyopia.

Dr. Anderton enjoys the variety in patient care and finds pleasure in connecting with patients of all ages and backgrounds. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys offering his services in Spanish. When he isn’t working, Dr. Anderton enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He enjoys hiking, fishing, playing tennis, cooking, and gardening.

Dr. Melissa Hull, O.D

Dr. Melissa Hull is an Oregon native who grew up in Pilot Rock. She attended Blue Mountain Community College, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 from Pacific University in Forest Grove. Dr. Hull completed externships at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, Cascade Eye Center in the Gorge, and at the Spokane VA Clinic.
Dr. Hull enjoys caring for patients of all ages. In addition to primary eye care, she takes a special interest in fitting contact lenses and treating ocular disease.
In her spare time, Dr. Hull loves to spend time in the mountains with her dog, Skeedo. She also enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
