Clayton Briscoe, O.D.

Dr. Briscoe has practiced optometry in Pendleton since 1992. He is certified by the Oregon Board of Optometry for the diagnosis and treatment of vision conditions as well as eye health and diseases of the eye. Dr. Briscoe holds certifications in topical, oral and injectable pharmaceutical treatments. He is a prescribing physician. He is a 1988 graduate of California State University, Chico with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. He graduated in 1992 from Pacific University College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry. He practices family eye care with emphasis on disease of the eye and conditions associated with aging… cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. Dr. Briscoe is certified in surgical co-management and referral consultation of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and refractive surgery. Dr. Briscoe is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys community service, and youth organizations. His time away from the office is spent enjoying quality time with his family. Dr. Briscoe is a member of the Oregon Optometry Physicians Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Eastern Oregon Association of Optometric Physicians.

Michelle Monkman, O.D.

Dr. Monkman has practiced Optometry in Pendleton since 1995. She is certified by the Oregon Board of Optometry and is licensed in topical, oral and injectable pharmaceutical treatments. She graduated from Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 1992 from the college of Optometry. She practices family eye care, including diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, conjunctivitis and uveitis and eye turns. She is also certified to remove foreign bodies from the eye and treat eyelid disease. In addition, Dr. Monkman co-manages surgeries for eye diseases, eye turns and refractive surgeries like lasik. In her free time, Dr. Monkman enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for local community organizations and schools. Dr. Monkman is a member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association, the American Optometric Association and the Eastern Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. Dr. Monkman is past president of the Oregon Board of Optometry.
